Australian singer-songwriter Bronwyn Rose is an alternative folk/pop musician inspired by the likes of Sarah Blasko, Katie Noonan and Emiliana Torrini.
A traveller at heart, Bronwyn has spent extended periods of time in France and is fascinated by the power of words and language. Weaving together sentimental lyrics and gently beguiling melodies, the engagement and wonder of Bronwyn’s songs lies in her ability to explore and describe life experiences from a range of intriguing perspectives. Velvety keys and groovy bass lines combine with a driving, rhythmic pulse to create a textural bed of sound upon which layers of lush guitar, dulcet cello and sprinkles of percussion will sweep you up in the enchanting atmosphere.
Bronwyn Rose will be bringing her EP 'Alive' to The Newsagency in Marrickville on the 4th of January 2014. With stunning support act Rosie Catalano, this show promises to unveil a rare and innovative talent from the Melbourne scene.
